About Engaging Generations
Engaging Generations grew out of University of Illinois Extension's programs on customer service—Customers First: Service Is Key. The lively audience interest in the short segment on generations in the workplace made it clear that employers and business owners were hungry for more.
Engaging Generations and its partner curriculum are practical, interactive, research-based, and fun! They offer realistic guidance on what you need to know to effect change in the workplace and elsewhere.

About the Engaging Generations Developers
Lead educator Terry Feinberg applies her expertise in organizational communications and international relations to educational programs that help businesses and organizations develop positive work environments, healthy employee relationships, and robust bottom lines. Terry is renowned for her teaching style. She has bachelor's degrees in communications and political science and a master’s degree in public administration.
Program coordinator Karen Durtschi brings years of private-sector and government experience in project management, executive administration, and curriculum development. She has a bachelor's degree in business and is completing a master's degree in management (June 2008).
Margaret K. Larson, who directs the efforts of University of Illinois Extension in Stephenson County, has taught students of all ages in more than 25 years in higher education. She was involved in the earliest stages of developing programs for nontraditional adult learners. Margaret has a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and a master’s degree in counseling.
