Your certification includes a comprehensive system with live training, PowerPoint presentation and notes, white papers, and e-mail support:

1. Three days of training with other professionals and with University of Illinois Extension educators (and the developer of the program) lets you learn and practice the material. This highly interactive program dives deep into the Engaging Generations content and process so that you master the course materials.
2. Anecdotes and activities will make your training interactive and fun for participants.
3. A 47-slide PowerPoint presentation defines the four major generations and their values and teaches how to communicate effectively and mobilize them to be most productive. Detailed notes supply background and added information for each slide.
4. Six white papers synthesize more than two years of research into two-page executive briefs. Topics cover generational differences in core values, work ethic, values, motivation, leadership, recognition, and volunteerism. Plus we include a complete list of references, in case you want to do additional reading.
5. Access by e-mail for up to six months of support from our University of Illinois Extension professionals. Ask any question you have about applying Engaging Generations to your situation.
6. A certificate, suitable for framing, attesting to your certification as an authorized Engaging Generations trainer.
7. Eligibility to receive referrals from the University of Illinois to provide training when we have interested clients that we can’t serve ourselves.
